What You Can Do with LLeMental
- Use Word or PowerPoint documents as starting points
- Mark variables using familiar syntax (e.g.,
{{ customer_name }}
) - Upload and save templates via an intuitive web interface
- Attach AI instructions (prompts) to each variable
- Generate polished, custom-tailored documents with just a few clicks
Creating Templates
Step 1: Format Your Document
Start with a PowerPoint or Word document and insert variables where dynamic content should go. Use the following syntax:
{{ variable_name }}
These variables will be filled in later based on your content and AI-generated responses.
Step 2: Upload the Document
Go to the Create Template page on the LLeMental platform.
- Upload your formatted document
- Give your template a name
- Click Submit
The system will automatically detect all the {{ variables }}
in your file.
Step 3: Define Prompts
Once your template is uploaded, you will be asked to define a prompt for each detected variable. These prompts are instructions that the AI will use when generating content.
For example:
{{ event_summary }}
might have a prompt like: Summarize the key points from the uploaded agenda.{{ action_items }}
might have a prompt like: List action items that emerged from the meeting notes.
Configuring Templates
Once your document has been uploaded and parsed, you will see a list of all the variables detected in the file.
For each variable, define an AI prompt that describes the content you want to generate. Clear and specific prompts result in more accurate outputs.
Tips for Writing Prompts
- Use complete sentences
- Be specific about the expected output
- Reference the type of background content the prompt relates to
Example prompt: Generate a bullet-point summary of the attached report, focusing on major risks and mitigation strategies.
Generating Content
To create a new document using a saved template:
- Go to your Dashboard
- Select the template you want to use
- Click Generate
You will be taken to a form where you can upload one or more background files. We currently support .docx and .pdf files, but will be adding support for .xlsx files soon.
The LLeMental platform will analyze the uploaded files, run the AI using the prompts you defined, and generate a completed document based on your template.
Once generation is complete, you can download the final document in Word or PowerPoint format.
Supported Input Formats
